So as it turns out, my best friend Kylan is leaving for his LDS Mission in Houston, Texas on September 27th. I am super excited for him. He’s going to have a great time teaching all of the people of Houston about the gospel. Kylan wanted some photos taken to capture this wonderful missionary opportunity, so here we are!

Experimenting with the Stars

I searched up online tutorials on taking pics of the stars tonight and these are the photos I came up with from my virtual lessons.

The pink in some of the photographs is sadly light pollution.

I tried taking a picture of the moon, which was absolutely way too bright and ended up looking like the sun.

Getting the Tree

Last weekend I went on an adventure with my parents to get our Christmas tree. We went to Cox Christmas Tree Farms in my home town armed with a ticket for any tree we wanted. I spent over an hour finding the perfect tree, which was all worth it.

After we got the tree I played with my camera a bit, using cut out paper to give the Christmas Tree lights shape.
